If you are looking for a beautiful, comfortable, newly renovated, spacious, perfectly located within the town, full equipped attic for your holiday or your working period in Como, you are in the right place.
This charming home is located in the magnificent city of Como and is only five minutes from the lake.
You are within walking distance of all that this lovely lake side city has to offer which includes restaurants, shopping, bars, train stations, supermarkets, museums and churches.
You do not need a car to visit the city because the property is located in the historic city center. However a private, secure parking place near the apartment is included in the price. Having parking in town is a great perk because in Como parking spaces are rare and expensive.
You will find all the comforts of a real home from home such as bed linen, towels, big TV, internet access, air conditioning, underfloor heating, balconies in each rooms, a big shower and a huge bathtub.
The apartment is on the fourth floor.
In the building there is a new lift until the third floor and then a spiral staircase to reach the apartment on the fourth floor.

Great location and lovely property

This condo was in a perfect location...we could walk to the lake, the main square, etc very easily. Everything was clean, and the condo was lovely.

Wonderful apartment! Perfect location!

This apartment is ideally situated in the pedestrian zone of Como. Walking distance to restaurants, the Ferry and shops. Never needed a car! Thaoartment is as shown in photos: light, bright and well appointed! The host was warm and gracious. She answered all of our questions. The check in was very smooth. We would stay here again!

Perfect Place

We had a great stay in Como. The apartment perfectly fits our needs. It is modern but also cost, very clean and in great location very close to the town center. We stayed for four nights and didn’t move our car at all And above all Sveva is a fantastic host!

Excellent stay in perfect location

This lovely apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. The old building is very charming, while the bathrooms and kitchen have been updated very recently. The location is perfect - inside the old walls, and just a 7 or 8 minute walk to the train stations or the lake. Sveva was also extremely helpful and accommodating.

Best Como trip

Excellent host1 Fully equiped with weekly clening service. Perfect location and short walking distance to Grocery stores, Trains and Ferry. Host provided helpful information on area and transportation. Well eqiped kitchen with washer and dryer. Very clean and all furniture and beds were comfortable. Definately would stay here again

Beautiful apartment in old town Como

Absolutely enjoyed our five days and nights in old Como. This part of Como is so quaint and full of restaurants, boutiques, narrow roads, and alleyways. Everything was so clean. The lake area was undergoing renovations which was a disappointment.

Excellent, airy apartment in ideal location

This apartment was very roomy with all of the amenities needed for travelers, and with lots of light, thanks to the lovely balconies in every room. The location was ideal for getting around Como as well as the train station and ferry. Sveva was there to welcome us and provided a book full of helpful information. Additionally, the apartment was nicely set with. cookies, wine, fresh flowers and fruit upon our arrival, all very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to feel at home in Como.

Great Place

Our group – three adults and two teenagers – stayed for two weeks. The apartment is larger and nicer than it shows on the website. It is well appointed with up-to-date bathrooms, kitchen, flat-panel television, comfortable beds and furnishings. The apartment is well located in the heart of the historical district, close to bakeries, butchers, restaurants, cafés – with easy access to both train stations and the ferries. Sveva was host/owner extraordinaire. She was very helpful with a number of things, including great restaurants and activity recommendations. We would definitely stay there again. Mark L

Perfect base for our Lake Como visit!

Ourselves and another couple stayed in Sveva's lovely apartment for three days prior to a cruise departing from Venice. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and had everything that we needed. It is a very modern apartment in a very old, quaint lovely building that is centrally located. Touring the lake is extremely east on the ferries which depart within easy walking distance from the apartment. Sveva was a most gracious hostess and extremely helpful during the planning process with prompt replies to my email questions. I would highly recommend the apartment to anyone wanting to stay in the Lake Como region. Our stay there, though brief, was a main highlight of our three week vacation!

Spacious with Great Location

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at this property for 3 days. Wish it would have been longer! Everything was perfect for our visit. The communication before the trip was great and there was constant contact up until Sveva personally greeted us at the location. The private parking yard was a huge plus for us as we had just took collection of a new car in Germany. The location was outstanding. Tons of coffee shops and restaurants near by. We always felt safe walking around. 5 minute walk to the water taxi to visit other cities on Lake Como. The amenities in the condo were terrifice. The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. This was the perfect spot to stay on Lake Como!

Great place

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment in June 2010. The apartment is modern, clean and expertly furnished. It's centrally located in Como and just a few blocks from the shores of Lake Como (ferry boats), the train station and the parking spot. Sveva and her husband are great and were very helpful in providing local recommendations. The only downside to the apartment is that it is on the top floor and the building elevator was not working at the time, which could prove difficult for children and the elderly. On the plus side, the top floor location provides wonderful light and views of the city. Enjoy!

Exceptional property in lovely city!

We were traveling with our four year old twin boys and their grandparents. This property met out requirements exceptionally well. The apartment is spacious, bright, and beautifully designed. As my wife and I are both architects, we enjoyed staying in a nicely designed place with attention to aesthetic detail. It is a lovely interjection of new and old. The access elevator even has an all glass enclosure! There were baskets of toys which kept our boys entertained over our 10 day stay. The overall configuration accommodated children nicely. The unit's proximity to Como's old city, waterfront and other amenities was perfect and just as stated in Sveva's description. Sveva was a gracious hostess throughout our stay. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely return on future trips to Como.

Great stay in Como

Recently stayed at Como Sweet Como with friends and the apartment proved very comfortable and well located. Sveva met us on arrival and shows us the apartment and provided excellent local advice. The apartment itself was as listed, well equipped for six people and very well presented. The apartment is on the fourth floor - there is a lift to the third then a tight spiral staircase inside the apartment to reach to living areas. While the staircase is narrow, it did not detract from our stay. The apartment is situated in the centre of como with shops and restaurants all in close proximity and walking distance to the two train stations and the waterfront for cruises on Lake Como. Sveva provides a very comprehensive guide to the local area which proved very useful. All in all, a great apartment in a great location. High recommended

Could Not Be Better

We had a great 10 day stay in Como. This was our second trip to Como. The first time we stayed in a nice hotel. However, there is no comparison. Sveva's apartment was beautiful. There were four adults in our party. The apartment is big, immaculately clean, and had all the amenities needed. The living areas and bathrooms are spacious and allows everyone to have breathing room. The location is within 5-10 minutes walk to shops, restaurants, both train stations, ferries, and beautiful Lake Como. Sveva is an excellent hostess. She makes good recommendations and knows the area. She is concerned that you have a good time and attends to any questions and needs. Sveva...thank you for making our trip memorable. Chuck & Wendy

A Dream Vacation in Como, Italy

First and most importantly, Sveva was an amazing host! She kept in contact with me on What's APP. She is the kind of host you may want to invite for coffee. The apartment is very close to the train station and at the edge of town in Como. It had an elevator but some stairs up to it, so this may not be a place for everyone. A wheelchair guest would not be able to get up to it. Unfortunately, this is the case in much of Europe. The apartment had plenty of room for 6 and even had a full kitchen, dining area and washer/ dryer. It was very clean. It was stocked with everything you would need to cook or have coffee. The new architecture and decor was really lovely. Sveva has a gem of an apartment to use as a VRBO property. Como is an amazing town on the water. I may have to go and stay again!

Great Value / Super Location / Clean / Safe / Wonderful Host

We stayed at Sveva's wonderful property on the edge of the historic district of Como for a week. It was a multi-generational experience including grandparents, parents and 3 teenage girls. The unit is a true 3 bedroom / 2 bath floor plan, a large family rm, large dining area, fully equipped kitchen and a laundry rm. If you have a vehicle you will find a gated space for your one car...a major plus in the historic area. The property was very clean, everything works and the unit is large enough to provide space for everyone! The property is the only unit on the top floor (4th) and this part needs explanation; the first 3 floors are serviced by an elevator which you ride to the 3rd floor and then go up a spiral staircase to your unit on the 4th floor. It could be a challenge carrying luggage up or down those stairs...but the unit is worth it. We were the grandparents in this mix so we didn't have to move any luggage around anyway! Everything you came to see in Como and beyond is within easy walking distance to the ferry, private boat tours up and down the lake, train stations, restaurants...you name it! The biggest compliment you can give a VRBO property is whether you would rent it again. YES we would without hesitation. It met all of our expectations and Sveva the owner was wonderful! Superbly stylish apartment in excellent location.

This is our second stay at Sveva's gorgeous apartment and it certainly will not be our last. We travel extensively and stay only in apartments and this one ranks in the top three of all our travels. We arrived late in the afternoon of a train strike and were met by Sveva's very youthful and energetic mother. A quick ride in the glass elevator and we found ourselves in the lovely apartment. The sun was just setting and the apartment was warmly lit, and if I recall correctly, Andrea Bocelli's "Love in Portofino" was playing in the background. There were fresh flowers in the living room and a loaf of the local Como orange flavored bread (heavenly and not to be missed) in the kitchen. I can't recall a more perfect arrival anywhere. This truly is the most perfect apartment in the most perfect location. As before, everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. There is a full size washer and dryer which is very unusual in Italy, even in the more expensive apartments, and was very much appreciated. The photos really don't do the apartment justice and I would highly recommend this apartment should you find yourself in the Lake Como area. Sveva is a beautiful host, inside and out, and most accommodating of her guests. We will miss her as much as the apartment. We had some tight travel arrangements and needed a driver at the last minute and Sveva set us up with Giovanni, whom I also highly recommend while you're in the area. There is very little I can add to all of the glowing reviews other than to say if you have the chance to rent this lovely apartment grab it. You will not be disappointed. Thank you again Sveva for a lovely stay in Como Sweet Como!
